Well I must be unlucky then because I've tried using several times now and each time I was waiting for well over 56 seconds. I'd say it has been at least 5 minutes each time.

@HappyDaze, sorry I didn't make myself clear. I meant: the average time a person waits holding is 56 seconds. Most just hang up....

I was on hold with AMAZON for almost an hour yesterday.  This is after I was transferred to tech.  I took a shower and got dressed before I hung up.  They seem to have outsourced their CS.
