Wondering why QVC is not willing to do an annual "membership" like Amazon Prime to offer free shipping to subscribers that sign up for the membership.  So many on-line merchants are offering free shipping as an incentive to shop on their sites.  I for one would be willing to pay an annual fee to get free shipping, since I purchase a lot on QVC.  Hope the powers that be will see this post and take note.  Comments about this are appreciated- maybe if there is enough interest, then something will be done about it. Thanks.

Ah, If you pay a fee, the shipping isn't free. Qvc doesn't offer movies or tv shows to watch, so they're getting nothing from me!

And with Prime you get 2 day free shipping.

I am against Prime for me.  Last time I paid Amazon, each shipment cost me about $11.  That's far more than I pay QVC.  I hated the free books that came with Prime and didn't watch their TV shows and I virtually never download music.  Prime was a total loss for me. -

I do understand why buyers who have families to shop for like it.  Same for those who buy something very often.  Right now I'm just working at paying down my EZPay and working not to buy anything for another month or two.

I, for one, would be very happy to pay for an annual membership for no extra shipping expenses and other perks. I’ve often wondered if they’ve considered this or not, too.

I doubt you will ever see that from QVC.    I just find myself shopping elsewhere more often except for certain items that are pirced best on Q (even with shipping).  Though I always check Amazon first.   I love it and as for me I get my money's worth with Prime.

I shop with Amazon quite often so their Prime membership works for me.
I also found that on some items that QVC offers, their prices are higher than at Amazon.
For example,  for a Nearly Natural Spring Floral Wreath, QVC item # H295612, is $82.00 + $5.50 for shipping.
I was considering purchasing it until I checked at Amazon.   For the same 22" wreath on Amazon, their price is $62.97 with free shipping.  So it does pay to do comparison shopping.  I think it would benefit QVC if they at least offered more of an incentive to
shop with them.  Easy Pays help but we're still paying full price plus shipping.  Preset discounts  and free shipping would be the incentive for me to shop more with QVC, rather than the occasional one day or 4 hour free shipping deals they give us every so often.

I would be interested in that.  I'm a Prime member and it works for me very well.  I watch the free movies, and listen to the free audiobooks through my Alexa.  I shop frequently, so the free 2-day shipping is excellent.  Even with the annual fee, I save plenty versus the individual shipping costs I used to pay throughout the year.

That's how you have to decide whether it makes sense for you or not -- based on your personal shopping and entertainment habits.  I love it!
