Please bring back the Halloween Shows!!

It has been years since I have seen a Halloween show!!  My family and I miss them very much.

The products were great and we always looked forward to them!!

Why were they phased out? They were a hit!

@Puppy-eyes7 They might've been a hit for you (and many other people, too), but apparently they didn't make enough money for QVC. They exist to SELL, that's the bottom line...and if folks don't buy the products, the shows go away.

Re: Please bring back the Halloween Shows!!

I do understand that...but being in direct sales, myself...innovative new products come along and it changes the game.  My point being is they shouldn't shelf an idea because it didn't work.  The products need to change, but you can always try and give it another shot.  There are so many things out on the market today that weren't even available 3 yrs ago.  As far as I knew, QVC was the only network to have such a show.

Just my opinion and something I really loved, perhaps just wishful thinking.

I agree !!!!!! They are so innovative and I decorate almost as much as Christmas. I still have many of the items I had purchased years ago and still get questions as to where I bought them. PLEASE bring them back

The host of them, Steve Bryant, went away too!

Re: Please bring back the Halloween Shows!!

I loved to watch the Halloween shows, but I didn't buy, as I had no personal need for decorations or costumes. I suspect many are like me. Entertained but not spending $$ while being entertained.

I think the rise of huge online Halloween suppliers, and all the many pop-up b&m Halloween stores around starting in Sept, plus Amazon, means QVC couldn't compete on prices - or even originality. Why buy a Halloween decoration or mask from QVC when you have at least 5 other choices for less $$ and you can likely go look at it in a b&m store.

Re: Please bring back the Halloween Shows!!

HSN still does Halloween shows, but most of their products are from a partnership with Grandin Road.  QVC did one Halloweeen show last year in which they sold some pedestals and flameless candles.  It wasn't a lot, and most of the products from that one hour show are still available for purchase.  Halloween is tough, because much like patriotic decor, it can often end up looking cheap.

I'm sure they'll never be back. (I don't imagine the shows made much money.)

Re: Please bring back the Halloween Shows!!

My mother bought this for me one year from one of QVC's Halloween shows, years ago:

I have such wonderful memories of my parents decorating the house for the neighborhood kids.  When mom bought that inflatable pumpkin patch for me, I completely fell in love with it.  I had so many compliments on it and it just added that special touch to our outdoor decor.  Every year my husband and I go all out for Halloween because we enjoy seeing families having fun together again.  This area was a dead zone when we bought our house here over 17 yrs ago.  At Halloween, we were basically the only house that decorated.  Every year we kept getting more kids and families because they looked forward to seeing what we had in store for them.  Families take photos with our decorations and teens just love hanging around.  We also have balloons for the little ones, popcorn and all kinds of little treats.  Halloween helped make this little neighborhood a community again.  Truly means a lot to me.

We don't have any kids but most think we do because of all the decorating we do.   We recycle old stuff and make them new again. We build stuff and do what we can with what we have.  If there's something I truly love, I will buy it.  It's worth it for me to see the smile on a kid's face.  It has always been so much fun.

I wish I could get my hands on another inflatable pumpkin patch like this again.  They stole mine 4 yrs ago.  Broke my heart.  If only.

I never did get into the costumes but it was all the yard art and inflatables that I loved.
