Folks just won't grasp the new QVC, and likely never will. It has evolved into the modern world of marketing, leaving some behind.
It depends on one's definition of entertainment.
One of Q's marketing techniques is to get people to think hosts are more than salespeople. Obviously, a lot of people fall for it.

I have never seen QVC as entertainment!! It is strictly a sales option in the world of retail.

Nancy must learn to be less phony and less acting. Even her smile looks put on. Once she gets "off script" she gets flustered and confused with the product information.

Not a fan of Nancy....but I don't watch that show anyway.

It doesn't hurt to ask.

I've given this a lot of thought lately, meaning how much do the shows induce me to buy. Bottom line is I don't buy much from LL Bean or Eddie Bauer or Woolrich anymore. (my previous sources) If they had a TV presence, perhaps I would. I need someone pointing out the positive points, and then I go to my computer to check fabric content and measurements.

Nancy is wearing a hat again on today's Belle show. Oy vey!

HA! I agree with you about that Shawn person. Anyway, I just don't watch much at all, not like before. I shop here, on line, mainly, I have tried watching, and imho, Q presentations have lost it.

Why are Shawn and Courtney no longer hosting that show together? I loved the 2 of them together because it was a believable "BFF" vibe. They brought FUN to the show, and seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the products they were showing. They paired well together. Both girls are also great on cosmetic product shows because they both seem to love makeup -- as I do! On the other hand, putting someone on a makeup show who ONLY herself wears a very plain no-makeup look, just does not work --especially with certain bolder look makeup lines .
My point being, imho, qvc needs to pair hosts who compliment one another's energy levels, personality styles, etc. They also need to pair the hosts to the type of show they are airing (makeup divas should host Mally, and also Mac, urban decay...oops, yeah, those 2 are no longer on qvc!!! And it is because you chose the wrong hosts to be on those shows!) . Quieter, more laid back, dry personality types would do better hosing garden shows, home furnishings, skin care shows, BareMinerals, etc.

Shawn said during her very, very brief semi-series of livestreams that Steve would be joining her for "Shawn Saves Christmas" when it gets heavy into the holiday shopping season.

Give Nancy and most hosts a break. What one person likes, another doesn't like. Big deal. It's called life. I doubt most critics could begin to do the job.
As for me, I can't imagine talking for even 5 minutes about any of Q's products. I'd lose brain cells.
