Please ask the models

To stop with the silly faces, OMG, it has been wild lately. The pushed out pursed lips, the raising of the eyebrows, and more. Sometimes they close their eyes and throw the head back, and ,squint or lower the eyes while nodding the head in agreement with the sales person. It is quite distracting and furthermore, I dont think they need to feel as if they are suppose to be selling too. It is so unneccessary. I dont know if they feel they have to project something because they do seem to just keep the camera on them up close for sometimes too long. The filming crews and models need to work togather to end these pretentious faces. Thank you

I have no problem with the models, they are having fun and I like seeing their different personalities. It's not the red carpet nor do I expect it to be.

I don't watch fashion much but I really like seeing all the fun they have and it doesn't distract in the least of my watching what is presented.

I think if they just stared blankly at the camera that would be too weird. I love that little smile Jackie gives the camera when they focus on her. It lets us know she realizes the close up is on her and she is acknowledging that fact. In my opinion that is far better than a blank stare!

I think it makes them seem human.

I have no problems with the models at all. I definitely don't see anything they do as pretentious. That sounds like projection.

I love how Suzanne models she is very calm and elegant. She is on when Judith Ripka presents her line. I doubt anything will be done about the models and the silly faces they make. At this point I just don't watch when these particular models come on which is very often.

@blankette I have to agree! Especially annoying is Katia when she comes on Susan Graver shows. I know SG is partial to her, but K's hip thrusting act is ridiculous, and her "runway" walk even more so. It's QVC for pete's sake, and Susan Graver stuff.

I dont want to name names. I'll just say that there are 2 that kind of annoy me.

One already mentioned in this thread seems to do a lot of prancing and posing and looks like she's about to dislocate something. Then there's another who throws her head back with every smile. Nothing against these ladies personally - I just look away or don't watch.
