I am constantly bombarded with pop-ups on this website.  They keep asking me for my e-mail address, which they already have, and they want my mobile phone number, which I don't have.  Now -something new- they keep sending pop-ups to remind me what is on my wish list!  I keep many things on that list - things that I might buy and things that I have already bought so I can see if they went on sale.  If they did, and it is less than 30 days, I can call and ask for a price adjustment.  These things are constantly poping up while i am trying to shop, and it is very annoying!!  I'm getting to the point that I dread coming here.  If I haven't responded to your pop-up for the last 200 times it is safe to assume I do not want to.  Please stop!!

@daisy4

Get a Pop up blocker.  There are many free ones out there.

But don't expect Any online retailer to stop trying to make a sale/profit.

Just click them off or we can shop local.

It is here to stay.  It is called marketing.  Studies show it generates sales, increases traffic, spurs additional items looked at blah blah.

Just be calm and try not to get all worked up over something we can not control or stop.

My pop up blocker keeps all other sites out, and no ads on my email.....but if I am on Q....I get Q suggestions.

That's how it is these days.

Re: Please Stop the Pop-Ups!

This is a common complaint here, that QVC seems to be ignoring.

In case it is (being ignored), download UBlockOrigin.org.

You'll never see another pop-up on any sites.. Recommended by @snipsnapsnur.

I don't see it as being ignored at all!

Just because some come here to complain, doesn't mean Q or any company has to do what we say!!!

Again, studies show these popups increase sales and traffic.

Maybe not for you or me....or 50 other people on these forums....and we may not like it but it does work for retailers.

yes, Blockers are the way to go!

[ Edited ]

The effectiveness of their pop ups is askew because I get pop ups while I'm already looking at items I was getting ready to buy. These pop ups had nothing to do with the sales of these items. This means that the calculations they do for sales and their relationship to the pop ups is off. It's not the pop ups that triggered my sales and I'm sure there are others like me.

Re: Please Stop the Pop-Ups!

I've actually found the pop ups helpful at times.  I wouldn't have known about the Rewards program if it wasn't for a pop up.  That has resulted in several excellent promo / coupon codes that I've used.  I have also looked at the items that pop up.  I assume they have my algorithm right.  😁
