Where are the Petite Models???  Majority models used are tall and very tall and more than one at a time on air. When people complain that there aren't Petite Models on air they bring some back to model and then it's not long and they're removed again.

@Catastrophe   Do you know which models are on QVC's staff?  I don't although I sometimes feel as if a few are.

Re: Petite Models???

[ Edited ]

The only one I ever see is the Asian woman (forgot her name), and she's only one particular body shape/size petite, it would help to have some of the others they used to have too.

Amy Stran helps with my sizing, a lot, I'm one size up from her and an 1.5" shorter, so I can judge from her.

But lately they s*ck more than ever giving sizing info...I don't know if hosts have been directed to not do that (WHY?!, if so..) The Jennie Garth line, which I love...lately I've almost missed out getting the item I wanted waiting for both she and Amy to say what size they had on, and often they didn't, so I had to guess. Yes, I also always look at garment numbers but everything varies on Q, and I'm kind of in between whether I take XXS/XS/S on Q, depending on item, brand, and I just find it best to see a visual, and have them tell me what size they're in.

Often the dang videos online they don't say it either. I just "love" when you see the video online and the whole thing they talk colors, which I CAN SEE, or take a call!! I really really gotta want something on Q to go through the hoops necessary to find my correct size!

(Check out Grace & Lace online under both "Fit Video" and then Fit page where they list all their models sizing, measurements, and picture to help with sizing...it's excellent!!)

@amyb

You are referring to Krystal. Lately, she seems to be the only petite model. I can't go by Amy S. because she wears  X XS and everything looks cute on her. I usually wear a small but I am only 5'1".

@Catch71 I get it, and they certainly can use more variety of petite models, like they once had. (they've really never had many, but they had more before.)

I'm only 5'1" also, and usually a QVC XS (in other clothing sometimes S, sometimes XXS on a few Q items, just because they vary so...like I'm usually D&C XS, but somethings I had to return for an XXS. sigh.)

As for Amy, yes, she looks great in everything, and presents clothing, visually, well (but wish she'd break down sizing, verbally better), and she's a little tinier than I am. But I am small boned and I can judge on her how the XXS fits her,(or sometimes she'll have on a size up just because it's all they have on hand), I'll judge from that how the XS up from her will fit me. I know...it's a crazy, vague way to determine sizing!

Like I said in my other post...some other sites, especially Grace & Lace, where I occasionally shop, really, really, do sizing well. QVC certainly, with on-air 20 min presentations, where they repeat colors 3 times, could do much better. But...HOW long have we all been asking for this...it's gotten worse, rather than better. Somehow, tbtb believe it's the "stories" that "connect" with customers (I've heard that said by tbtb) more importantly than being able to buy your correct size? I won't buy if I can't determine my size, especially when I'm charged for return ship costs.

I agree. Meredith was always my go to petite model, as if it fit her, it would fit me. Miss seeing her, and can't relate to most of models for some time.
