I am not sure but I think maybe ditsy Shawn may have started the whole thing. She is the phoniest of ALL the air kissers....Mmuuuuuua, Mmuuuuua.

Hate the whole thing so unprofessional but then she is unprofessional in everything she does.

I totally agree ! And it's not like they really haven't just seen eachother a short while before they go on the air. It's all for ''show'' - and I think it is pretty tacky myself.

Go to the community forums and read what is going on at HSN then see if you think they are professional. They police every word that is said.

I couldn't agree more! It's unprofessional and creepy! Shawn is THE worst, but most do it. Really there is NO need to hug and kiss the vendors. This is a practice that needs to stop. I agree with another poster.....it makes me cringe!

NO KIDDING!!!! IT'S SO OBNOXIOUS & UNPROFESSIONAL. And, it makes me completely doubt the host's objectivity & sincerity about an item when they've just kissed the vendor. Of course over years of dealing with someone you're going to become friendly but this has gone WAY over the top!!! ...Shawn practically makes out with the guests, and her pursuit & approach in kissing them is so awkward & uncomfortable to watch. Have you ever seen & heard Mary Beth Rowe & Linda Davies together during a Liz Claiborne show? So sickening & saccharine that it boarders on flirtation. No problem if they were actually lesbians but according to all they relate, they are not so please cut the immaturity & tone it down. Otherwise, just 'get a room' as they say, and leave the rest of us out of it.
