PLEASE Tell To Be Vendors More Aware of Their Microphones

[ Edited ]

When wearing necklaces.  Lori G. is on and all I can hear is her necklace clanking in the microphone.

I seriously don't understand how they can't hear it.

I will say that this really does bother me.  I couldn't care less about coughing but hosts having jewelry or their hair going back and forth across their mic drives me nuts.  Seasoned hosts should know better and producers should say something if the hosts are unaware of it.

There was a host on HSN that had a necklace on that was hitting her mic throughout her show.  She said she new it but it was so cute she wanted to wear it.  So she'd adjust and fiddle and it just kept happening.  I changed the channel.

Agree.  That is so annoying.  Those with on-air experience should realize that.

Can I add stop hand clapping to the list of "Host Microphone issues."

The hosts do not hear these constant annoyances, but I certainly do.
