How could you not knowing you were using Epay?
You know how much the item cost. Before you submit order, you get the total, of what you're being charged.
Big difference, between, say, $30 for your first EP, and over $100 for full price, of the item.
Wouldnt you notice, on your account, the difference in what you were charged, and what you expected to be?
QVC also sends out several notices before they'd close your account. That had to be a weird experience, for your daughter.

@Kachina624 wrote:@fthunt Surely you and the WH don't think the USPS is not being paid to deliver packages? @Didiville This method of shipping is being used by most internet retailers as a money saving device and gives some business to the USPS. I've never had a PKG fail to be delivered. I don't want to pay $$ more for straight UPS. Postage is sky-high as it is.
You would not feel that way if YOUR packages were lost like alot of us. I never had a package fail until now. I had a few lost. Now, I can't get ANY thing to get to me. It just gets to the same place and dies out. If you don't want to pay for decent shipping then let QVC send your items out cheaply. I prefer to get what I pay for.

The post office is always begging for more & more money because it's not profitable. So if you are a taxpayer, you are paying more.
Postage is sky high? QVC charges 3.50 to ship something. That's cheap to me. I'd rather pay 15.00 for Fed Ex and GET my items.

@CalminHeart wrote:Everybody and their brother is ordering online now. Retailers often ship via parcel post which means it's the lowest priority mail and will sit until the postal service gets through overnight, priority, and 1st class mail.
Pay for the full UPS shipping if you want it faster.
Retailers charge too much for UPS shipping too. I was a senior manager over a Fortune 500 company's incoming/outgoing mail dept for a while. Large retailers have contracts with UPS, USPS, and FedEx. It cost my company $2.50 to $5 to ship overnight or 2nd day depending on weight.
I agree with you. You get what you pay for and I know QVC is using probably, 3rd or 4th class mail so it just sits. QVC does NOT give you the option of better shipping, that's the problem! If they did, I'd pay 15.00 to ship one item! It just gets added to the easy pay anyway!

@nslick wrote:I've had the same problem. QVC indicates it was recieved at PO. PO told me they don't have the package. After reading these posts, it seems like the PO can't keep track of packages. This happened about a month ago. After I called the PO 2 days in a row, and being told they didn't have the package, it amazingly appeared. So this time, I'm hoping the same thing wil happen. QVC CS told me I can get a refund. I'd prefer to have the item purchased. Based on multiple conversations with the PO, the impression i have, is they really don't seem to care, It's easier to place you on hold for over 30 minutes, in hopes you will give up and hang up. IMHO
My post office doesn't even answer the phone. They just have a recording that goes round and round. I asked my carrier if he could check out my tracking numbers for me today. One package has been sitting for 3 weeks and the other is taking the same route and just sitting. Hope he can help.

I'm not blaming QVC but I would think they would inquire as to why their packages are not being delivered! I tried to email the PO & my message wouldn't go thru. It's just a blouse but Iwould still like to receive it!
I mean, THEY should track it. I don't work for QVC customer service but they just tell you that they'll refund you or send out another item. Well, I don't WANT a refund and to send out another item the same shipping method is only gonna have a SECOND one in the same boat!!!!

Wait, 2.50 or five bucks to ship overnight? That's CHEAP! I'd pay 15.00 to ship Fed Ex all the way!

I've been in the same boat. The Q AND hsn ship out using that crappy ups mail innovations where it sits somewhere for 2 weeks before it's even handed off (if it is) to usps. I've had a couple orders lost--well, I never received them--so CS says, no prob will send out another. Don't see how this is profitable to them using cheap shipping if they have to keep shipping out replacements!
