I am 66 years young and I buy a lot from QVC from clothes to shoes, to IT makeup, to kitchen things to you name it and I love it.  I am a progressive dresser and love Isaac Mizrati, Susan Graeber, Denim and Company and H by Halston.

What i would like to see you have is more models who are older, I'm a size 14 and mostly you show the clothes on darling super skinny gals and occasionally a young lady who has  a little fuller figure which I appreciate but you rarely have older women!  I love that IT cosmetics does use a few older ladies.

Just a suggestion to please consider it and I'm happy to come apply for the job!! Thanks Mary Ann Nations

I'm an older person and I see plenty of older models on QVC, enough that I don't need to see anymore.

@Mary Ann nations  There are actually quite a few older (subjective term) models, in sizes Small thru 1X.  You probably are not watching during those presentations, but they are there.

I'm sitting here looking at one of my fav hosts and wondering if she has a full length mirror. Why do Q folk wear stuff 2-3 sizes to small ? Seams, are gonna pop. Looks so uncomfortable and totally ridiculous.

I wonder if there is an answer to this question. I've seen many posts about this very thing through the years, but nothing changes.  So often the models are wearing tops sthat pull at the bust line, skirts that make them look about five months pg, and so many outfits that are clearly the wrong size.  Certainly doesn't make me want to buy.

As for older models, I have only seen one lovely woman who was obviously at least late 50's, early 60's. She is an AA lady with white hair. I like to see her as I can tell from her size how something would look on me. Watch for her.

Four older models come to mind immediately - 2 Maria's, Mary, and Terry.  There are probably others.

I don't see how they can even fit in to small of clothes in the 1st place.

I wear a 'L' in Denim & Co. and I guess I could try on a 'S', but, how could I move? They shouldn't be ashamed to state their true size. Nothing wrong with being a 1x or bigger if that's what U truly need. Your not fooling anybody , but, yourself when you squeze into a 'M' when you need a XL.

When you get older you should lose the vanity sizing thinking. I laugh my self to death when even the young, thin girls say "yes, I'm wearing the XXS". I go "yes, you are and you can't move, you can't raise your arms, and it's constricting you like a python".  It's Ok to say your wearing a 's'.

Men, don't play that game.

As was discussed in different threads, there are women who go through life doing this, because *they* like the look on themselves. They think they look fine, and are more attractive with clothes that are snug as opposed to (in their eye) "too baggy." I have learned, from listening yo family and friends who do this, that they honestly view those who wear their proper-fitting size as "wearing their clothes too big" - even as much as 2 sizes, not just 1.  They won't ever see it and no matter what anyone says to them, *they* think it's other people who are poorly dressed.

Hi Mary Ann!

There are a lot of "older models" and models who aren't super-thin on QVC, specifically the two Marias, Mary, Chantal, Kerri, Kerin, Colleen, Anne, Joy, and Kate among others. Perhaps you're just not watching at the right times?
