Noisy Set

Has anybody else noticed all the backgroud noise on set today and tonight? Its almost like an open mike on set! I understand hearing the props moving around, which is something new. What's annoying is hearing the one-sided conversations going on off camera. What's going on? I would think it's be distracting to the hosts. But if they don't hear it, maybe a producer has his/her mike open??? I hope its just an glitch in the audio and not a new sound system. It's really annoying.
