A few years ago I had very good luck with shoes from QVC, both fit and quality. And I have a lot of both boots and shoes. But that started to change as I started having problems: from a very light "navy" boot with silver studs (almost a regular denim color) that came in as very dark navy with gold studs, many shoes that I purchased in my regular size and were two sizes too big, someone else's shoes that came to me and had to go back (and never got mine), I have Clark's boots that cost $85 that don't look nearly as good as a pair of "I Love Comfort" boots from Sears I got at the same time that cost $29 on sale, Aerosoles sandals on which the footbed has come totally apart around the edges with very few wearings, and then some suede shoes with a seam down the middle of the toe box (for looks) but the suede on one side of the seam was completely different from the suede on the other side. Had to send those back twice, and then the final pair in one color that I really wanted to keep I had to take a brush and work on one side to make it look more like the other side.
SO, NO MORE SHOES FROM QVC!

No one can tell you a heel won't slip or something else with a shoe won't fit you. All feet are different. What doesn't work for you will work for thousands of other women. My foot can be hard to fit and I hate returning shoes. The only shoes I order online are are brands I know will fit.
I don't buy shoes from Q for 2 reasons... 1) you can usually find them cheaper elsewhere, and, 2) most other retailers offer free returns or cheaper returns.

@JerseyJ I agree. Purchased a few pr. of Clarks and knew the size & fit. When tried to order Vionic, Sketchers, Earth Brand & others, the fit is all over the place. Shoes and bras are impossible to purchase online. Both should be free shipping in both directions!

I agree with many posters that shoes are best tried on before purchase unless you know a shoe fits and you are ordering another color. I have found that a wide in Clarks is a consistent fit so I am fairly confident ordering online. But it's still not certain. My local Clarks store has never carried much in narrow or wide, so I ordered online, but that is changing this spring. The clerk told me he had a large shipment coming in of cloud steppers, all to be offered in N and W as well as extended sizes. I think the demand on QVC has convinced Clarks to offer more choices in their stores. I hope they are cute styles as well as being comfortable.
My heels are narrow but I need the wide due to a very high instep. I put a strip of moleskin in the heel to adjust the fit. Thanks to the poster who posted pics of other solutions. I might try them.
I cannot handle painful shoes. No matter how cute or great of a deal, I have gotten rid of any pair that pinches, rubs, turns my ankle or has no support.

@I so agree with you. I have finally learned my lesson after ordering such cute shoes, @ fifty to ninety dollars only to be so dissapointed and have to send back and pay enormous shipping! No more!

Oh boy, I hear you! .... I also find shoes and bras impossible to order online. What a waste of money!

I agree. I can't shop much on the Q for shoes. Don't want to have lots of returns,
because they are too wide.

As far as I know there are no clear definitions for a narrow heel or a low arch vs a high arch. JUst because a vendor says a shoe has a low arch does not mean it fits the same as another vendor's low arch. If you have such a hard to fit foot you definitely need to stop buying shoes you cannot try on first.

I have narrow feet and QVC seems to think everyone has wide feet. I have seen several shoes I would have ordered if they came in a 12 narrow. I ordered two pair of shoes yesterday - one from Nordstrom and the other from Marmi.

I swore off ordering clothing & shoes from Q or any other online retailer & this is why:
Today, I spent 3 hours trying on shoes -- Vionics flip flops have ruined my feet😳! Well, not them "per se"but I've lived in Vionics for the past few years ❤❤❤❤ them & haven't had the foot support therefore I have developed "bunion" and "more problems (wider foot but not wide enough for wide sizing)" They are my go to shoe if you want to call flip flops shoes!
(I walk 1 hour + everyday in my Vionics tried every sneaker
Just not comfortable)
i went to dr for my foot problems & he attributed them to
flip flops...OK, I go on the search for "comfortable supportive shoes" today...no luck except for Sketchers walking slip on.
I've worn a size 10m for years - every pair of shoes I tried on (over 20+) either they were "too short", "too narrow", toe box tight or too big in width in back, too wide in footbed & more -- so frustrating!!!!
And this was trying on shoes at a well known shoe store NOT chain store like Famous Footwear - even Clarks were uncomfortable!
I came to the conclusion shoes are NOT made the way they were years ago where I could walk in & off the shelf pick my size & it fit! Just like clothes every size is different even if you're buying the same size for years😳
I'm so frustrated 😤 Never thought I'd be saying this!
