Exactly, and especially the part about tall and thin. What I have also noticed is that sometimes it's obvious that a model--no matter what her size--is modeling a garment that isn't the right size; either too big, too small, too short, etc. Do they just throw something on the model and hope it will fit? Or do they not have the correct size for the model to wear? In any case, it's jarring to see.

@FuzzyFace I know HSN sometimes will have a size smaller than what the models wear. They'll have a model who is a small or a large and they put her into an extra small or medium because that's all they had available to show on air. And you can tell when something is too small, especially if it's a line that is cut more fitted. On QVC, certain models always seem to wear something that's too small for them. I'll notice tops that are straining at the bust, and pants that are too snug. This usually seems to be the case with Jackie, especially during LOGO shows where they put layer upon layer on her. With me being a 3X, I tend not to layer LOGO because once you get three or four tops on, not only is it hotter than all get out, it's more constricting.

I saw some new plus size models a few days ago, but they were on very early in the morning. I usually see them on off peak hours now if QVC would put them on during regular viewing hours that would be nice.

I'm disappointed in those who say heavy people can't show off clothes as well as thin models. Body shaming is a horrible thing to do. People come in all shapes, sizes and heights and each one is beautiful. We need to be positive with each other.

Would also be nice if they indicated whether or not the model had Spanx on underneath.

@CalminHeart. We need to be realistic with each other.

Realistic or body shaming? Just because society expects everyone to wear a size 5 doesn't make it ok. If one has ever been heavy, they call it what it is, body shaming. It's easy to criticize when one is not heavy or hasn't been heavy.

@CalminHeart It is body shaming. And it needs to stop.
@Kachina624 As a size 3X I can tell you many of us larger women can and do wear clothes very well. Take a look at some plus-size fashion blogs and you'll see that you don't need to be a single digit size to look nice.

It would be nice to have models that are average height and average weight also. Showing tall thin models is not really helpful. "She's 5"10"" and wears an XXsmall." Seems like most are XXsmall or Xsmall. They look nice but that is not the norm.

Show me a model that has "heavier" arms; lets see the lady that has some "rolls" in the tummy area! I ask this because I am a lady of that statue! I want to see what the clothes look like on a model that some of these issues. Only because some cap sleeves are not as appealing on us ladies that have some issues with having "heavier" arms. Or the cute dress that a size 4 or 8 model may not be as cute on us larger size ladies.
The "plus" size models you do have are still in my eyes are not "plus" size in my eyes. A size 12 or 14 or even and 18 model is not a TRUE plus size for us larger ladies that wear 2 & 3 X's.
Oh come on. They have several 1X models now and even 2X, although they might not publicize that. The Q has gone overboard trying to please plus side ladies, and many shows have more plus sized models than regular sized models. In fact I just posted about that in Suggestion Box.
We smaller folks like to see models our size too, you know.
I like professional models. I don't care what size they are, but know how to pose, show off the fashions, not just stand there with one hand on one's hip.
