The last tracking was on Dec 21 when UPS dropped it off at local USPS . No tracking since. And no delivery. How long should give it to show up before declaring it lost? Who should I notify? It is an auto ship and really do want it.

@SeaMaiden Write to QVCsocialteam@qvc.com They will help you. It may be lost or just slow going since the Holiday. Happen's to me a lot with the Post Office.

@SeaMaiden The shippers seem to be plowing through the last minute packages. I just got one today that had been in transit 10 days. With the holidays and being closed, everyone got behind. Just be parient.

Looks like your delay might be caused by USPS' shipping partner Newgistics. If USPS notification doesn't say "Accepted by local post office," your package was not delivered to your post office. Newgistics does a lot of lying. They also lose packages and some customers on the internet blame them for stealing, as well.
Try looking at your tracking number on Ship24.com. It's a website that follows over 1200 shippers worldwide. They post more detailed notifications than UPS, USPS, and QVC. Scroll down to see what shippers are involved in your delivery.

@SeaMaiden - Hopefully you'll get an update on the status soon so you can set your expectations appropriately—as @Kachina624 mentioned, there's quite a backlog at all the couriers right now with packages that may not have been considered "high priority" to arrive before Christmas and are just getting back into the usual flow. My brother, who has worked at the USPS for decades, along with the UPS driver who delivered a couple of packages to me today, both confirmed this. Fingers crossed that your package arrives very soon!
P.S. Although you can complete a lost package form just about any time, investigations usually only happen if a package status hasn't been updated in 15+ days (unless the shipping service is Priority Mail or Express Mail).

That happened to me. It arrived at the post office 12/2/22 and was delivered 12/24/22.
Was yours shipped ground to USPS? If so, it's the lowest possible priority for USPS and they sit until they have time to get to it. That's what happens when companies use cheap - newgistics, parcel post, and such - instead of more reliable shipping methods.
Fyi, I worked at a post office parttime for several years after retiring.

UPDATE.... My auto ship came yesterday... so they must be getting caught up from the holiday rush and the inclement weather issues we had.... Hopefully that is the case!

Mine often get stuck at the last Post Office before my local one. However, I had a package delivered yesterday, that still showed in tracking as being stuck at that last Post office...never showed being transferred to my local one.
