Re: My Humble Opinion on QVC

I've been watching for years.  Joan Rivers and Kathy Levine did a Saturday night show that was pure entertainment.  Joan was bold and certainly her comments were edgy.  I wonder if the two of them were still around if they would be more like Shawn and Mally or would they have kept it more controlled.  Not sure.  It's a different time and generation.  Maybe people younger than me find Shawn funny and quirky talking about what were once off limit topics.  It's just not for me, but if others are okay with it, so be it.  Kathy and Joan somehow always sold a bundle, so their style worked back then.  Shawn must be doing something right because she's on quite a bit.

I read that Shawn was removing her ear wax and that Jane said outright that while traveling with her husband in the car she had "odor" issues. It was explicit but I paraphrased. Too gross to write and btw, there was a video of her saying it. I hope when the new owner comes in, they clean ship. I have no intention or interest in their TMI. So I no longer watch QVC. I buy from the website.

I can vouch for you, I also heard Jane's exact comment, my hubby did too and when he sees her now he always mentions it.

Re: My Humble Opinion on QVC

I saw the interview with Jane T. that Shawn did a few days ago.  I really didn't need to know how often Jane does the deed with her husband.  Really?

Well, hopefully you will all be relieved of the stress of watching QVC and then coming here to complain asap.

I guess I must be lucky because I watch all the hosts and either don't notice or don't care about all these "uncouth" comments and actions.   The whole world has changed including QVC.

Easy decision.  I could care less in any discussion from a Q salesperson other than the item I contemplating on buying.  It's either mute or click to another channel for me.

Anyone on this board who professes to being a clean freak and then supports Shawn's behavior scrubbing her feet up on her dressing table and then eating a cupcake, scratching herself, wiping the snot from her nose on the back of her hand and holding up her ear wax proudly stating she got floaters--well, I guess we all have different standards of cleanliness. Gag!🤮

Well, considering that QVC had to go bankrupt and their future is uncertain, I suspect there are many people here that do care and a little decorum in this world of ours hurts no one. Crudity isn't everyone's cup of tea either...

@Shelbelle  I heard it too. She mentioned turning on the heated seats that made it worse. 🤢

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

@Trinity11  The reason for Shawn removing ear wax is that she was presenting a wax removal tool, and she was demonstrating it. Item # V84831.
