More Measurements on Pants Please

Please list the actual measurements for the rise on pants. Stating that it's below the waist, at the waist, etc...means nothing. Having an actual number from crotch to the top would save a lot of headaches in returns...and may actually result in more sales. In fact, having waist and hip measurements would also be helpful.

Thank you

Re: More Measurements on Pants Please

@Quse. On line under the description you will see garment measurements "click here" this chart will give you the measurements at multiple points on each garment including rise.  I check this chart and the QVC size chart to help me determine my size.  It helps but just like in B&M every item of clothing varies to a degree.

Yesterday on 2 shows they were selling long tunic tops and saying the length would work on everyone.  They called a model petite but the model said she is 5'4".   That is not petite.   I am 5'4" with a 30" inseam and I wear a regular rise.   A petite would be below my navel and I would feel like they are falling down.  I would be afraid to bend over with out a long tunic.  No thanks.  Their sales tactics do not work on me.  Some designers and hosts change their pitch to match the style they are trying to talk us into buying.  "Everyone can wear skinny jeans.  Don't wear skinny get boot cut as they make your legs look longer, etc".  I have learned what designers I can trust the best and I still check the charts.

Re: More Measurements on Pants Please

@Gram W Ok, now I feel like a fool, but thanks for the info. I looked at the pants I had in mind, and sure enough, there it was, plain as day: "for garment measurements click here." And there are a whole bunch of measurements! 😂 I can't be the only one who didn't see it, it is not prominent on the page.

I guess I don't look at the bottom of the descriptions because it's close to the box telling about upcoming programming, so I missed it.

Thanks for the heads up, you just saved me $80, as the petite have the same rise as the regular. I know what you mean about the sales pitch. I don't pay attention to the "in" thing of the season, I know what I like through trial and error. I'm 5'5", but very long in the torso, so tunics on me are perfect, but I often buy short lengths for pants because my legs aren't long. I don't listen to the sales tactics either, I mostly go online and only watch if I want more info on something.

And skinny jeans...not for me, never were.. 😂

Re: More Measurements on Pants Please

@Quse.   Glad I helped.  There is no reason to feel foolish.  For a long time I ordered strictly from the shows.  A few years back I started having trouble with the sizing.  My weight and measurements were the same as had been for some time.  I looked on line to see what I had missed on a previous show.  I found this chart when looking for reviews.  This chart is supposed to be the actual garment so it is most helpful.   I now get better fits.  I also buy less when in doubt.   How many callers tell the host they don't have a computer to give reviews or say they never order on line.  Good luck.  Happy shopping.
