School is out and the kids have taken over the boards with their mindless jokes. Can't you remove all these porn messages at once?
06-15-2016 07:25 AM
No, they're too busy looking to see who gave out TSV item numbers in advance of the showing!!!!!

Looks like the mods were busy this morning

How about just reporting the inappropriate posts and letting the moderators do their jobs?
Do you honestly think posts like this are helpful? Are you are doing is making the jobs of hte moderators more frustrating while giving the troll the attention it seeks.
Posts like this are almost as annoying as the spam, and it only serves to encourage urther distruptive behavior going forward.

I agree that the mods have a difficult job. The question is, however, how did this happen. Not the Mods fault as you state. QVC management is responsible and needs to upgrade and strengthen its on-line internet system. Is my financial information, personal information, etc. safe from hackers? Makes me want to do business elsewhere until they straighten it out. While they are at it, QVC should get to the bottom of the refund situation to find out why it takes so long to get refunds. Is this a system matter or does QVC hold on to refunds for its own financial reasons. For the sake of their business QVC needs to re-examine its on-line systems and communicate to its users what steps it is taking now to fix this. Maybe I missed it, but I have not seen e-mails, etc. from QVC that discusses the recent hacking and what QVC intends to do about it.

I find the morally hysterical, OTT demanding, angry responses to these events (they have occurred before and they no doubt will again) to be far more annoying than the actual words used by obvious trolls.
People are randomly parroting that it must be children, school's out, etc. because they consider the posting juvenile. Well look in the mirror - some of the responses are just as juvenile.
What do you think you accomplish by threatening to leave QVC or DEMANDING that they do this or that RIGHT THIS MINUTE because YOU CAN'T TAKE ANY MORE, or suggesting that all of QVC must be compromised in every way and all of everyone's financial data must be freely available on the internet?
Temper tantrums, threats and ultimatums are the territory of toddlers.
I just SMH with all of this stuff. I find many of the responses and reactions just as ridiculous as the behavior that spawned it.
Report it, every thread that you see. Report each one twice if you want to. Then wait for the moderators to do their jobs and *continue being adults.*

Hacking? Someone created a new account with an awful name and posted awful titles. Obviously done at a time with no mods. I didn't know people were vetted when they signed up to post.
Lucky you didn't see the pictures posted a few years ago.

I would have thought there is software to immediately and automatically delete every title that contains a common word, for example.
Not dictating what everyone should do, but IMO, the best thing would be NOT to start thread after thread complaining, or showing outrage, or getting the vapors over this. People can quietly report the problem by e-mailing QVC or calling Customer Service. The person who pulls such pranks is thriving on the attention and the outrage. By starting threads about it, you are giving them exactly what they crave. If you make absolutely no mention of it and just ignore it as if you don't even see it, the person will not get any satisfaction.

Whoever our troll was they knew what would get through the sensors. No real links, and words were run together. Cheap thrills for some I guess.
I am surprised that the software can't just wipe out the trolls existance with one click.
