Hello, IamMrsG.

I get what you're saying. It's useless to post things if random people are just going to go into the thread, start an argument and then get the thread shut down. Now, whether they're doing that on purpose or not, I don't know. But it is kind of annoying.

Unfortunately, I don't know what can be done. I don't know what the moderators could do either. The only advice I have is to simply stay out of the Community Chat sub-forum. That sub-forum seems to always have a lot of locked threads due to people arguing all the time.

The Among Friends sub-forum might be better.

Unfortunately this is true.  And while on some topics certain posters annoy the heck out of me.  But on other topics I totally agree with them.    Take a point away, and give one back?   I pick and choose the threads I open. And when I stop reading one I think has hit the wall of nonesense.

Look, I went through High School and some college and the main thing I took away from all of it was typing speed!  That I can do.  If I hunted and pecked it would be a different story, but I can still type fast.  I always say I was probably one of the few people who loved being a secretary because I loved typing.

So, if you notice my large number of posts it's only because I have this need in me to give my two cents worth and I don't have someone standing next to me saying, "Really, Annabelle, you know your full of hookey".  OK, I know you guys think it but you don't always say it.......thus the large number of posts on my part.

It seems that in the last week or so the really bad troublemakers have returned - with new names - from las Vegas or wherever they were, and are up to all the mean old tricks. Starting fights over & over for no reason, being insulting and personally attacking. All the awful stuff we thought we were rid of.All you can do is ignore them - that really gets to them.
