Please, Moderators, take note of those names that repeatedly show up on threads you wind up needing to close. It's obviously the same people involved over and over, and it's gone beyond tiresome. Instead of rewarding people with high-and-mighty sounding ranks for nothing more than quantity of posts, I suggest you start deducting points from those same nicknames for being the root cause(s) of inflammation on a thread. Eventually, when they start getting demoted, maybe some of them will take notice that their judgemental, sarcastic, demoralizing, insulting comments are not appreciated.

I don't notice people who purposefully come on here to cause trouble.
There are some I don't agree with, but so what, that's life. It's wonderful that everyone is different.
I might think you would be stiring up some problems. I enjoy seeing all posters.
Just me, but this is my vote. I see not real problem.

It's a fact of life; when you're dealing with people, you've got to take the bitter with the sweet.

The OP is stirring the pot , she should MYOB and let the Mods do their job .

I do believe the moderators know what they are doing. They know when to put a stop on something. To suggest anything else is insulting their judgement on their decisions.

I assure you my intent for this post was neither to stir a pot nor insult the Moderators. To the contrary, it is pot stirring and insulting (some of your comments here for example, btw) that was the impetus for my post. There is a pattern of the same people ruining threads begun with potential for interesting conversation by peppering them with accusations, sarcasm and innuendo. It should be possible to have discourse without being routinely subjected to hostility.
This is a suggestion box, and if my suggestion for holding posters responsible for their choices as a way to allow peaceful conversation to exist does not belong here, then where?

Fact is, you (general use of the word) are not going to like every post that you come across.
Deal with it.
The mods know how to do their job.
Don't like a post?
Too bad.
It is what it is.
If it's too "mean" then the mods will take care of it.

It's basically a public place, so there will be a mixture of personalities and attitudes. I think the boards are well monitored, much better now than before. Thanks to QVC mods.

Deducting points would mean "demotion"? I thought that count was number of posts.
Learn something new every day.

Not a huge fan of censorship, myself. I have read many posts that are the opposite of my own personal opinions. I try to stay away from the politics & religion topics
because it only causes arguments, and people believe what they believe.
I hate it when some posters get defensive and angry if people aren't fans of the clothing they adore (ie, the Logo fans). Opinions are opinions, and some people can't handle that. But even though I don't care for anything Logo, I do notice that the Logo fans have a great time talking about it. Good for them, and I enjoy how happy they seem about what they love.
