Modeling Petite length pants on Reg., & Tall models

Please create a video or do this during a Pant TSV showing the Petite length on a model who normally wears the Reg. and/or Tall lengths. This would be very helpful for all the straight leg, and ankle pants the Q is offering.

All the fashion hosts always suggest that we buy different lengths for our different shoe styles, why not help us please and showcase that suggestion in a show. Thanks much!

Re: Modeling Petite length pants on Reg., & Tall models

I don't think that would work. Petite pants aren't just shorter length pants, but rather smaller all around. Im 5' 3" and cannot wear petites because the rise is too small. The waistband comes to my mid hips!! Now "short" length is different. "Short" length is shorter in the legs, but the rest of the pant is cut like a "regular". I hope that makes sense.

I tried this once when they were out of my basic jean. Plus I was sick of paying 9.00 to get them hemmed. A petite D&C just won't work on me. But it does in Lee Riders. Go figure.

Re: Modeling Petite length pants on Reg., & Tall models

If the pants were a true petite fit the models would not be able to wear the pants comfortably because they would be way too short in the rise. I always watch the garment measurements on the screen for the petite pants because if it's a true petite cut it will also be a different size in the hips. QVC should not allow the hosts to say the pants are petite cut unless they truly are. Quacker Factory is honest and tells you that the pants are not cut for a petite, that the length is just shorter.

Re: Modeling Petite length pants on Reg., & Tall models

my aggravation with this shopping venue and some others is the fact that petites are short ALL OVER---including the rise--the measurement between the waist ( no matter if it's low or at the waist) and the crotch--I hate----the seam hanging down to my knees---we don't only have short legs--

The clothing models displaying clothing on the Q should be a represent all sizes. There should be a tall model, a plus sized, a regular, and a petite. Many times all the models are over 5 ft 8 in or more......... The average American woman is still about 5 ft 3 in or so.
