MODERATORS, One More Consideration, please...?

Moderators, I know you have had many requests for a lot of changes, etc. on the new layout for the forums, but will you please consider one more?  After I have signed in, when I open a new thread in the Forums (say Q Talk, as an example) I see a list of posts to choose from, arranged Newest to Oldest, each with a date and time showing on the right.  HOWEVER, when I look at this list, what I see is a list of often ancient posts, and the date and time actually points to a NEW REPLY under that post.  Couldn't we just have the lists arranged in order of NEW posts (with the date and time), and we all would then know that any replies to that post come after that date?  I hope this makes sense.  An arrangement like this would really add to our enjoyment of reading the posts.  I really don't want to have to search down pages of old post headings to see if I can find a new one, which is time consuming and a big put-off.  Thank you very much.
