Lighter Colored Summer Pants

Why can't we see some lighter colored pants for summer. I'm in the northeast and am not ready for white (snow forcast for tomorrow) but would appreciate some tan or stone colored dressier pants. I'm not interested in wearing such dark colors as are available with more summery tops. PLEASE.
