Re: Less food shows

[ Edited ]

Beginning next week Gourmet Holidays return to the regular schedule,  about 3 days a week, sometimes more frequently.

Three food TSVs in the next few weeks: this coming Wednesday (item not specified), Corky's and Rastellis coming soon.

A whopping 5 hour programming block on Wednesday January 8th!

Food! Glorious Food! is here to stay, for sure!

I like the food shows.  I'm always ordering treats to be shipped to my grandkids.  I placed several orders on New Years day.

In years past, food shows were a favorite to watch.  I would occasionally purchase something on sale  (Would never be foolish enough to pay the retail price).   Was always disappointed in what I received. Not up to my standards in taste or quality. The exception then being Mrs. P's apples. Sadly, they also have gone down in quality.

Now, if a food show is on I will watch a few minutes of it and change the channel.  Usually don't care for the hosts and you are correct @QVCaddict101  way over priced.  Can get better quality and more fresh locally.
