Why does QVC or their vendors have to put so many mailing lables on the boxes. Just had to remove 5 small lables off one box. And some, lables can not be marked off with a Sharpie permanent marker or any other device that rolls out black ink. Lables are all shiny with a coating. No need to plaster the boxes with all kinds of mailing lables. One main one is enough. I mail packages and use UPS also, and I only use one lable, never once told I,need to,plaster lables all over box with the the address of the recipient. If going to use so many lables then do not any that are coated, so we can mark off name and address.

They probably only use one mailing label but depending on the shipper or shippers more labels are added by them.  Sometimes there are non-shipping labels too with the item number.

@Laughable. Why do you have to remove the labels?

@Kachina624 I always remove the labels from boxes before recycling.  Don't want anyone to see my name and address.

@Laughable I agree, there are too many lablels but that's not any vendors fault.  I believe they are put there by the shippers as they route the item through the system.

I agree that it's related to the shippers and not the vendors.  I don't usually get that many on my boxes.

I don't care who puts the labels on. It just takes too much time blacking out my information.

It has never occurred to me to take my name and address off of boxes or mail.  Sensitive info like a prescription or credit card statement goes through the shredder.  With the amount of junk mail I get, a million people already have my name and address, plus it's easily available on many websites.

@Tori3569.  It never occurred to me either.  I probably get a dozen boxes a week since everything I use comes in a box.  Removing all the labels would be a full-time job.  People become paranoid and are overly cautious IMO.

I always remove the address labels on my boxes, but at most each only has two.  One from the sender and possibly another small one from either UPS or FedEx if the package comes from them.  Only one with my info if it comes USPS.

I've never had five mailing labels on one box.  Some labels that have content descriptions, but not my personal info on them.
