I waited a long time to see the carriage-house style 15" & 18" BL Lanterns (item #s: H168876 & H168877), only to be disappointed that instead of glass, plexiglass was used & a highly unattractive (ok, being honest, ugly) flameless candle was used. This past week, BL introduced 2 new lanterns (H191067 & H191068) that employ glass panels & what appears to be a super-nice flameless candle. This said, I would love to see these lanterns (H168876, H168877 & a previously available 12" one) reintroduced in black & a new off-white offering employing glass panels & this much improved candle.
Even better, I'd love for the Q to sell the 3 sizes in this particular lanterns in both colors without any candles included. I'd venture to say that more of us use these lanterns indoors rather than outdoors, & we'd prefer not to have an attached candle, but, rather, be free to use whatever size & color candle of our choosing, be it flameless or real.
You know, I was so disappointed that I started searching the web for lanterns &, as a result, wound up with an s/3 set from amazon & an s/3 set from Pier 1. Being candid, we are telling the Q what we want, but nobody seems to be listening & bringing our requested wants to fruition, so instead of our money being spent at the Q, it is being spent elsewhere for satisfaction. One would think that the buyers would be fully engaged with the wants of the shoppers. Now, naturally, I no longer need anymore lanterns, however, being so taken with this style, I would definitely purchase these if made available.
Another couple of examples: why don't you sell some of HR vases & holders w/o candles so we don't need to still purchase a separate candle of our choosing. Now, CI is starting to sell candles with holders that, imo, should be sold separately as it jacks the price up making it too expensive if one only wants the candle(s) & not the holder or the holder w/o the candle(s). I'd also like to see those large HR candles sold separately: the 8" x 4", the 9 x 4", the 10" x 4" & the 12" x 4" as I've been waiting on larger-sized, plain candles that CI isn't currently offering. And when they did offer 10" x 4" & 12" x 4" many moons ago, they offered them in pairs instead of individually &, unfortunately only the top 1/4 of the candles lit up. Certainly didn't want to pay $54 at that time for a candle where only 1/4 lit up & have to purchase 2 when I only needed one. And, yes, we do have a website where they HR candles are sold separately, but, understandably, there are more pluses buying through the a business as large & reputable as the Q than not.
Many of us have been requesting that you sell the holders separately that the CI candles are displayed on. They are super-nice, but having googled many times, can't find any of those particular styles online.
Same with the request that the BL floral items be made with more LEDs incorporated into each design.
