I have also asked a question in the recent past that never got answered.
There's no point having "Ask a Question", if no one is going to provide an answer. Especially if an item is new or a TSV, there should be a rep who can monitor this section and answer promptly.
In my case, they simply lost a sale, as I'm sure they have in other cases.
The OP makes a valid point, IMO.

Questions are there for other customers to answer. I've never seen Q answer any of them in the last 30 years.
How about posting your question in Customer Care of the appropriate forum here?

@CalminHeart - If you look at some of the questions, the answers are provided by reps of the company (vendor). The questions can be answered by anyone who has the requested information, not just those providing an opinion or customer experience.
The reps always provide their names after an answer.

I think that QVC and other sites depend upon the customers to answer those questions. It is much less expensive to have customers answering those questions than to hire someone to do it. I have noticed that there is far less information listed online about certain products.
Every time I give a review those questions will come up. I answer what I know but some of those questions make no sense.

@Kachina624 I see answers from sellers all the time on Amazon, as well as from customers. I often get an E-mail from Amazon for a product I bought asking if I can answer a question about the product The sellers are identified as such in their answers.
I have often gotten answers when they do a live presentation on Facebook. It might not be the answer I wanted, but someone from QVC did at least try to answer my question.
