@sunset beach Are you saying he's "obsessed"? Others certainly are.
I think some people have been watching too much QVC.

I have to turn LG off because that phrase drives me crazy.

I liked Jennifer a lot in her beginning. However, she has become somewhat phony to me. There's something about her, I don't care for.
Mary Beth is a classy host, but "here's the thing" DOES get on my nerves. EVERY single sentence.
Won't EVER watch Lori G, I turn the channel as soon as I see her.

Mouth is usually full.
'Literally....here's the thing'
Good thing I don't keep Hersheys around...I would be shopping for a bigger size in clothes.

I rarely watch Cameron, he, nor the Halston line, are just not my cup of tea. When I've seen him on an AM/PM style, he elevates almost everything. To be fair, I love to watch Isaac, but he really needs to lighten up on the constant use of RIGHT.

I find "Here's the thing..." throughout the Great Lakes area, and LOL when I hear myself say it once in a while too.
'Obsessed' and 'elevate(d)', have joined the much overused 'deserve' as words used in selling that now make me cringe.
The only one I absolutely cannot tolerate is SK, who frequently creates new words to suit her needs or misuses existing words.
May be a regional expression, but I would think professionals would not use them in their work.

With no script, we get much more of the hosts' true speech patterns. I have a higher tolerance for the repeated phrases than the run-on speed speech (where one word runs into the next with no break) and shrill delivery. I will not listen to that.

@x Hedge I've heard others at QVC say it too. Maybe it's catching on.
