It's Time for a Format/Programming Change at the Q

Lately I find myself watching the Q less and less - it began in earnest when they moved away from the Morning Show format and began shoving "fashion" down our throats on Monday and Friday mornings, and I stopped watching all together in the mornings when Rachel fell into the mix. She's just too hyper and doesn't add anything.

I miss the old morning show with Dan and Pat (and of course Murphy, Dan's golden retriever). It was calm and you could sit down with a cup of coffee and actually stomach watching the presentations.

Q has waaaaaaay too much beauty and fashion programming, and I for one, would like to see more home decor decorating. Why not give Valerie Parr Hill her own show and cut back on the obnoxious Susan Graver??? Not saying she'd have to have a show every week, but at least monthly... And certainly more of the At Home with Jill shows!!!

Of course we all despise the shipping and handling rates at the Q, and the consistent lack of easy pay...something that HSN and even ShopNBC have all used to their advantage.

I "used" to be a diehard Q viewer, but find more and more I am flipping over to HSN, as they seem to have the big name home decorators - Colin Cowie, Nate Berkus - not to mention the partnership with GrandinRoad/Frontgate. HSN's pricing structure is better as well, and you actually feel like you got something on sale when you buy from them, versus the Q's whopping $2 off an item.

Think it's time to shake things up at the management level Q - your customer base is rapidly dissipating...
