"Please let the Vendor Reps speak."

3 people on show:  Kersten, Alberti and HP. Rep.

The Rep. hardly gets a chance to present his product : Computer.

Kerstin and Alberti constantly butting in.  I did not purchase the computer too much of their interference.  Wanted to hear more from the Rep. regarding the computer.

Tired of the screaming and jumping around with those two.  That is not a selling item for me.  I didn't purchase - I changed the channel.  Had enough of that.

Re: Interfering With Vendors

I just don't understand why they need a vendor for every single product. Seems like a waste of time and money trying to coordinated a person for 10-15 minutes for only one product.

I don't understand why they need two hosts ganging up on one vendor.

Re: Interfering With Vendors

I don't think vendors are needed for most things, but for electronics and computers, they are important.

The Host's should let the vendors explain the products and stay quiet while they are doing so.  I wouldn't want to spend money on a computer unless I got all of the details.

This issue should be addressed with the Hosts, I agree with the OP.

It's the vendor's product. I'd prefer to hear from the vendor instead of watching hosts behave like middle schoolers.

I completely agree.  However, most of the time the hosts have the producers in their ear telling them what to say and other instructions.  Plus upper management still wants them to entertain us.  It's a no win for everyone.

I don't need to see the vendor for a tee shirt, pajamas or shoes. For higher end items like a vacuum, computer, ok. They can explain the ins and outs of the products. But for a $25 item it's not necessary.

I don't think they need hosts at all.  Let the vendor present the product.  Maybe have an AI voice over introduce the product and vendor.  Save money, cut prices, make it a true "shopping" channel and not a pseudo "entertainment" channel.

Re: Interfering With Vendors

On Q2 the vendor would present their product without the host. A very relaxed atmosphere. I haven't seen that in awhile. Sometimes the host is dismissive of the vendor's comments. Bitsy, the Joan Rivers rep, told the host if they could get back to describing the pants. The host was talking about a family vacation. I like the idea of an AI voice. Of course there are viewers who watch for fun so they would not care for no drama.

Re: Interfering With Vendors

I tried to watch an American West show last night hosted by Stacy who obviously knew nothing about SW jewelry.  Yet Carolyn could scarcely get a word in edgewise due to Stacy's  inane remarks.
