If QVC read these boards, they might get some ideas of how to turn the company around. I've read so many great suggestions.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

Their challenge is FINANCIAL...  Doesn't have anything to do with the gripes on these forums.

Some have all the answers to running a business but hae no knowledge of how it's done.

@spabar

Actually, some companies have gotten very good suggestions from customers or "lower level" employees.  There have been suggestions here that might have been considered.  Many here are pretty savvy.

Corporations think they know better...even if it bankrupts them.

financials don't stand alone. Everything they do or don't do, sell or don't sell, affects the bottom line.

But often the reasons for the financial issues are found with the grass root customers, such as those that post here. As Simon and Garfunkel proclaimed: "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls." This board can be a gold mine, for better or worse.

They might not read our suggestions or care about complaints but as business folks they might ask why having two hosts and a vendor is budget worthy.  They might ask if presenting ten fifty dollar items per hour is productive.  They might ask if there are enough customers for the five thousand dollar fire light bracelets.  They might ask if fashion presentations could be more than an item sale when selling outfits might bring in more cash.  They might ask why there is no birthstone jewelry show every month.  And finally they might ask why there is so much online that never sees airtime?  So much could be better but who knows if matters.

Re: If QVC Would Read…

[ Edited ]

Although many ask for more on air product variety, particularly with TSVs, my view is that offerings will be even more narrow.

Management has shifted and consolidated total merchandising and purchasing for both HSN and QVC under one executive.   There was surely a reason for that.

Combined purchasing power with national brand manufacturers could result in even more frequent Shark, Dyson,  Clarks, Kitchen-aid, Skechers,  Barefoot Dreams, Vionic and so on as TSVs.

My thoughts of course.

I got a survey from QVC yesterday, wanted to know how I felt about the prices, quality, shipping, etc.

Hopefully more customers will respond to this survey if they get it.
