QVC's shipping for the most part is still a lot less than some other online stores like Kohls, Macy's, Dillards.

I order from Kohl's, Macy's and Dillards often and never pay shipping.

My thought is that they would just "hide" the shipping cost into the item price.

That's exactly what they do on " free shipping" days.

@charsha I cannot remember how many times that has turned me off with the TSV.  It's a big part of our turning to 'A', I have very seldom had to pay for shipping with our prime membership...

@We rescue cats ..  But don't you have to pay for Prime to get "free" shipping?

I do, but it pays for itself quickly. Most of my items arrive in a day or two, we also get fee free movies and the Prime Day sales, if we select no rush shipping we earn discounts for future orders, free shipping on WOOT, photo storage and streaming for movies.....It is worth every penny that we pay.

@We rescue cats

Unfair comparison!

Apples to oranges.

You pay a Membership fee (which is higher than Walmart +)  Prime = $139 per year paying in full OR $179.88 if you pay monthly.

You are paying for that shipping w/ your membership fee.  It is NOT free!

Q doesn't charge a membership fee.

I order primarily on free ship days, items on sale etc. but I could order a lot of items w/ $3.50 shipping to equal that $180 membership fee.

Disagree.

I watch my WL closely and never has an item been jacked up for free ship day.

In fact, they often go on sale.

To each his or her own. I enjoy Amazon.

I order from many websites and ALWAYS get free shipping. If I see something for less at Amazon, my neighbor has Amazon Prime. He orders for me and I pay him. I have recieved some items from AMAZON on the same day he places my order. Most of the time I receive items in one day. I have NEVER paid for shipping for items ordered on Amazon.
