When I click on a topic, it takes me to the middle message-not the first one or the last one, but the middle message.WHY is that??? It's no wonder they have the TOP thing with the arrow. It's the only way you'll get to the beginning.

Sometimes it will take you to the last message you read - apparently to save you the trouble of scrolling through stuff you've already seen.  But if it's starting in the middle of a thread you've never seen, I don't know what the problem is.

@ValuSkr I think you might have something there. I knew it on the old forum, but forgot that's how it works even with the new forum. I'll start noticing more often, and duh on me. Thanks

The first new post is also gray on my screen.

@Judaline , if you want to read posts in chronological order i.e. oldest first, you can go to preferences and change your linear and topic layout. You can also choose the number of topics and posts per page.

In your linear layout, you can uncheck the box marked jump to the first unread post in a topic, that may be the reason you're being taken to the middle message.
