Really?  According to their recent quarterly financial reports, QVC/HSN is losing money.  Maybe, just maybe they're fighting to stay alive

If they took over most every shopping channel on TV they must be doing well...... and they are also International !

If not sorry for them ........they should go back to only 1 channel  !!!

Who  needs more than 1 QVC, to shop on????????

QVC is all  Greed ..................imo!

I am not in no way being mean to you ,but i have to say that every retialer have high and low price goods. I am quite sure you have noticed that in shopping, what confuses me is that you think the Q is doing something that every reailer does. The Q can't tell people what to sell their goods for, we can fine ways to compromise. I have purchased high end handbags at different prices and enjoy them all. If you want to leave the Q fine but not because of the prices because every retailer are in business to reach all levels of buyers. I joined the Q for the simple reason that they offered things that i liked and i didn't see no where else. I still miss  my favorite brand that was consolidated into D&C, it was the dresser side of the brand, I still have some of the items in linen that I still wear.

Aren't stores in business to sell products? It's what any business does. Do you go to a Mercedes dealership and and yell 'greed'? QVC is selling. That's what they do. There is always Goodwill.

I really don't think you can close your QVC account, but if you have their credit card, you can close that but, when you close a cc, your FICO score will go down.

That may be your opinion but I happen to like the different channels on QVC. Since I love cosmetics I really enjoyed watching the BeautyIQ channel when it was on. Also like the Q2 channel as I sometimes see things there I like as well, though mostly watch the main QVC channel. Don't understand hating on the Q for selling? Uh, it's what they do people, and forgive me for saying this as it used to annoy me but seems appropriate here---if you don't like what they have on then DON'T WATCH.

@KKJ

First let me apologize to Katrina for the shout out....lol I did not see it like that when I posted....lol

I'm having terrible,terrible  eye problems.....

That said.....

all you see on those other QVC chanels   (Q2,Q3) are repeates of the show on  regular QVC, only it is shown  the next day!

Even the TSV,which then ,imo, makes the TSV ,not so special anymore,because you can buy it tomorrow or even the day after.. ,...

Well, that's true that the other Q channels are usually repeats, I did however tune in to Q2 either yesterday or day before and saw a show with Dan Hughes and it said LIVE in the corner. So am confused---is Q2 doing more live shows now?

Re: I cannot tolerate the avarice shown by QVC anymore!

I, like a few others, dont really understand picking on the OP for how she feels. That's just mean. we dont have to agree but we dont have to be so unkind either. so many of us are having a really hard time right now. maybe the OP is seeing so many changes in her world right now, including a place she has shopped at for so many years and its frightening to her. maybe it's hard to verbalize that fear. maybe some of you are afraid too so you attack her for making you face fears you dont want to acknowledge you have too. now someone will probably attack me for saying this but I dont really care. at least I knew what avarice meant without looking it up...I turn QVC off now & then and read a book. so there. 😛

I think QVC is probably wanting to attract buyers with higher incomes.  But, overall higher prices may cause  current customers who can no longer afford them to shop at other retailers where they can find better prices and quality.
