Re: How many people does it take

Maybe all this babel is part of the Project Athens, QVC's and CEO David Rawlinson's "multi-year turnaround plan, designed to stabilize the core businesses and expand the company’s leadership in video streaming commerce."

Occasionally, it's crossed my mind that in addition to other salary metrics, they are also paid by the word.

@laluzdelmundo Are they paid every time they mention their daughters?  Happened to watch a bit last night.  Heard at least 3 references to them.  Did not buy.  Changed the channel in aggrivation at this particular host.

Re: How many people does it take

Its even happening with one host. The other night, I was trying to watch a handbag show with multiple types of bags. Each vendor could hardly get one sentence out without being interpreted by this host who would not let them speak!  Drove me crazy as i Iwanted to hear the vendor's info.

To present a product?
I don't understand the selling here on Q anymore. Every time I tune in, it seems like several manic hosts trying to out talk each other and a vendor, sometimes multiple hosts and a vendor....or a vendor at home, alone, with a terrible connection.

It's really bizarre.

The foolishness between hosts/vendors accomplishes nothing.

For example: I was watching a Lug presentation, the host and vendor were so busy blabbering on, they failed to show the basics. For Lug bags, show the inside of EACH bag because the linings are often different and that would be a point of interest for a potential buyer. I had to go to Lug website to see what I needed.

Lately I find changing the channel solves a lot.

Maybe a few less people, or at least one that gives details about the product would be good.

Dont understand the constant questions re multiple hosts. Obviously that's what management wants. Not going to change.

Agree with everyone.

last week I was interested in a handbag that Amy Stran was presenting. She never got around to colors or the inside of the bag. Not that it sold out. I got disgusted and  turned off the program. She is getting terrible. Won't let any of the vendors speak

....5. One vendor to try present the product, one host to talk over the vendor while the other host tells stories about their family and two models to do a silly dance.......

I was thinking the same thing!  Even though I wanted to see the shoes JT was talking so fast I couldn't understand what she was saying.  Fearing a headache I turned her off!  By the way it was a mistake for her to put that jump suit on.  Sorry - not sorry

Re: How many people does it take

I stopped watching live presentations for the most part, unless it is a item or a line I really want to see. Especially when they started presenting with two hosts, which is so ridiculous...

They employ enough hosts to let them present one on e with the vendor.

The only time It doesn't bother me with two hosts is with Gourmet shows, because they are usually 4-5 hours long and would be really hard on one host..

I watch very rarely though anymore because too much time is spent on silliness, instead of the products..
