I hearted a comment I disagree with by accident. Is there anyway to remove a heart?

Indeed there is.

Go back into the post and click over to the three dots on the right.

There you'll find an option to "revoke" hearts.

I must have been on a different board.  

There's always been good and bad posters here, nothing's changed but the options they have.

While I don't do the heart thing, it's not any different than the karma, thumbs up, like, etc on other boards.  What's the big deal if people like them.

Miata, you can't "heart" your own post so the heart icon is gray instead of red.

After you heart a post, it turns gray, too.  You can only heart a post one time.
