I have always thought it would be wonderful if instead of cheesy off-air programming, Qurate would partner with a non-profit or two in order to support their cause. Such as showing pictures of missing and exploited children during off-air times. I'd rather give a family another chance of showing their missing child than seeing how a host decorates.

Just a thought. Thanks for yours...

I hate when businesses become charities. Sorry but they should stick to their jobs and not spend MY money and get my tax break on things people may or not support.

There is WAY too much of this now. It costs consumers billions and takes a businesses focus away from their products and customers.

Great point and not one I had thought of. I work for a non-profit so of course I am biased.

I like to donate directly to charities I like.

On the flip side, why let Q or any business take the tax deduction for the charitable contribution?  I'd rather take it.
