When a thread is started and an issue or prob or some such is begun,I believe others want to know the outcome or an answer to there question. It would be a good thing if questions were answered.

Do you mean like getting 'ghosted'? That seems to happen often.

That's not a bad idea @Group 5 minus 1 but that' would be the responsibilty of whoever posted the problem. I guess people forget after they get their problem solved.

All in all it doesn't matter to me most of the time. I enjoy the discussion!

Or they ask if anyone knows what fashion item the host or model is wearing and you help them find it and post it and they never come back to say "thank you."
Usually it's their first post and they never post again.

@Group 5 minus 1 I think the person posting anything negative often gets the mob-mentality (which monitors are frequently disregarding) and doesn't want to open themselves to another reboot. But I, too, would like to learn how issues/problems are resolved satisfactorily by the OP.

@rms1954 Amen! This is one of my all-time pet peeves. First-timers especially seem expect us to spent our time doing research for them, then they never give the slightest acknowledgement. We don't even know if they bother to come back to read it.

Sure, it'd be nice to know but it's really none of my business. Just because someone asks a question or asks for input on a problem doesn't mean I'm entitled to know more.
It doesn't bother me at all if people don't respond with the outcome, thanks, hearts, or anything else.

@CalminHeart If you took the time to provide suggestions and/or troubleshooting, did research on their behalf (what they could have done themselves), you don't think you deserve to know if the op tried them, let you know if anything worked or not, thanked you, or at least acknowledge you in some way etc.?
