Help us find if anyone sent us a message in any forum.

Years ago on Prodigy they had a button we pushed when we went to that group to talk with others.  That putton helped us find out if we had any messages while we were gone.

 

All we did was type our name or click on our name, and up popped the list who and where someone left us a message.   It made it easy and we didn't miss a messages.  

 

Here we do not have a clue if anyone sent us a message if we go all over the boards reading and talking.  So for this reason I hang in a few areas.

Well that's what the @ sign is supposed to do but I don't think it's working.
