I subscribe to countless magazines and order from many online retailers and haven't seen the half tuck in any of them.

I remember the time when I fully tucked in my tops! Well that was before I had a tummy which grew with each child I delivered! I couldn't pull a half tuck if I tried. It doesn't look sloppy to me; just a style for those that can! Amy and Kourtney are pretty short and I think they do it to hide the fact many tops they are selling are too long on them. JMO

In the last two days, I've had emails from Talbots, Old Navy, and Target. All had an example of a half tuck.

It seems to be a trend..,for 12 year olds. And now the half tuck and torn jeans.
Lovely!

Half tucks are everywhere and have been for nearly a decade. They're not going anywhere anytime soon because high waist pants are currently in vogue.

I love the half tuck. To each their own.

I have never seen Amy look " sloppy."
Half tuck works when styled right and depends on body type.
Not for those large around the middle. Obviously.

with their tops half in and half out. Like they just rolled out of bed
and came to work. QVC used to be pretty classy.....no more.
Even though we may not like it or wear it...half tuck is a VERY current trend.
Has nothing to do w/ class...just like ripped jeans!
Trends come and go...this too shall pass.
When you mentioned trends/fads and ripped jeans all I could picture was getting dressed in ripped jeans with a cold shoulder blouse that is half tucked. HA! 😊

I have responded to many posts about the half tuck. I also am not a fan. My concern about it on QVC is that the consumer is trying to get a view of the item on air, and if it is tucked in, there is no ability to see the length of the item on the models and how the item really hangs on the body. If you do a half tuck, then have another model showing the top untucked. Not everyone wears the half tuck and many of us want to see how the item looks unfurled.
