I didn't see it but it sounds ridiculous. I've never even understood why they show models washing their faces in presentations. Do they think we need lessons? And if I never see another Beekman bar of soap lathered up it will be too soon. Dear presenters, we know how cleansers work. Just describe any qualities of your product you want us to know about, and assume we can take it from there.

I saw that video. I found nothing wrong with it. They were fully clothed.
Have you seen QVC's Scrubbs Rinse-free shower sponges that are always presented? I've seen the brand rep and models suds up just as much with those things.
I see it as the best way to truly demonstrate that they do suds up and not just wipe across the skin, and can be used to get clean.

I think it is the models they use.

These don't bother me but I do find it odd that we need to be shown how to wash! And who gets that much lather going? I find it silly but they want you to see how WONDERFUL your skin will be afterwards. They ALL make the same claim. Makes me laugh. I also want to laugh when I picture myself doing this in high heels and shorts! LOL!!

I saw the presentation and I didn't see a problem with it.

@Lisamartha I saw it and thought it was cringe worth. I mentioned it in another Nakery thread in the Beauty forum. I did say just my opinion. Not much around here 100% of the people agree on.
I know I would feel very uncomfortable having to do that.

They were actually sudsing themselves without even the benefit of a counter in front of them. I felt so bad for them. Did anyone else see this? I can't quite put into words the level of grossness I felt. Bordering on misogyny.
Bordering on misogyny? Seriously? So what are the models supposed to do? Just stand there?

I don't see how it's any more cringe than the Josie shows and others where the models are slathering the oil and moisturizer all over themselves.
