Im sure this will be be removed as innappropriate, but I’ll try!  Host Jennifer Coffey, who I originally liked a lot, hosted an Isaac Mizrahi show today and was bouncing around the set as if she was ‘on something’.  Her initial outburst was about a basic tee shirt!!

QVC, this is hard sell at its worst and personally I cant bear it!  From other postings, a great deal of people agree with me.  It used to be a pleasure to watch the hosts, but now, nothing could be further from the truth!  What with the rising prices, hosts amping up the hard sell, the most I do now, and not very often either, is check ‘recently on air’! 

Many of the hosts, not all, have become legends in their own minds!  Jayne Brown, Antoinella, Dan and Pat, have all retained their composure, thank goodness.  They prove they can sell without acting like demented divas! 

I know this is an often repeated message, but I think its worth repeating!

Jennifer, now Jen, has changed more than any host I've ever seen.  She's older than the other newbies.  I wonder if she's over-compensates in order to seem young and exuberant.  I agree, I like the original Jennifer better.

I was a big fan of hers initially.  Now i cannot watch her at all.  Which means that I have to miss some of the Izaac shows, since I really like him and a lot of his clothes.  I just shop on line for IM items these days.

I don't mind Jennifer.  She does good with jewerly.  They all have their moments.  I just can't with Kerstin.  Talk about animated.  Having said that, I don't believe I'm going to say this, but I did like her with Suzanne Somers that one time.

@AJW  Totally agree with your comments on Jennifer. She tries too hard to be liked; is too loud and is annoying. Some of the other hosts who now have shows of their own  are also rather silly, loud and obnoxious. Their self-described "success" has gone to their big heads. A couple of them can't be considered young and apparently ir is too late for the "will learn better with time". Kind of pathetic priorities.

On the other hand, two hosts who have maintained their credibility, personality, humor, professional skills and integrity (IMO) are Gabrielle Kerr (great host and gentle woman) and Rachael Boesing (calm, interesting host). Would love to see more of them on QVC in prime time hours. I REALLY enjoy both of these intelligent  women and will watch their actual shows rather than videos of the products.

Add to the mature watchable list, Mary Beth, Katie McGee are good as well as Mary (former ITKWD) assistant.  Sorry, can't think of her last name.

Amy has grown a lot.  Sharon is okay, even though she talks very fast and I do watch her once in a while.

I do not watch Shawn, Kreisten or Jennifer at all. Too much hype and silliness.  I go online to  Items Recently On Air to do most of my shopping.

Alberti is great any time.  He and Sandra are good together.

Due to them being on in the overnight hours, I don't watch the brand new hosts.  So I can't give them a fair review.

Not watching.  No idea who the new hosts are.  If I check in I see lots of energy (I am being polite) that has nothing to do with the product.  I cannot try it on, try it out or even touch it.  I want explanations, clear and simple so I can make a good decision.  I am not interested in having COLOR being the primary selling point either.  

My buying is down with the Q because I really need to know calmly and carefully.

The two best hosts:  Jayne and Leah Williams.  Both are calm, pleasant and NOT PUSHY.

Honorable Mention Hosts:  Mary Beth, Jane Treacy and sometimes Sandra Bennett

The rest of the crew act like they are hawking the products or running an auction with the fast talking and hyper sell.

Other Hosts:  Shawn (displays moodiness), Jennifer Coffey (awkward and aggressive; tries to show herself off, not the products), Antonella (unnecessarily self-deprecating), Amy Stran (fast talking, frenetic, doesn't allow vendor to speak), Carolyn (another moody one), Kristen (does not seem genuine).

Just my opinion.
