Quite a few years ago, QVC featured sets of beautiful hand-crafted greeting cards.  I have a set of Christmas cards and a variety box of greeting cards.  They came in a decorative, sturdy box about the size of a shoe box that tied with a ribbon.  There were no two of the same card.  The cards themselves were beautiful, all having appliques or something special on them and were individually wrapped in cellophane.  The name on the back of the card is Imagica in Edmonton, Alberta.

I've sparingly given these cards to special people but my supply is almost exhausted.  I'd love to see the Q carry a product like this in the future.  It's very convenient having nice, high quality cards on hand when they're needed.

I have two sets of Hallmark cards that sound much like you describe.  I got them from QVC a year or two ago.  They are exquisite.  I've used most of the all-occasion cards and have been hoping QVC would bring them back.

@Kachina624 @Krimpette  Yes I miss them too!  I thought the ones I bought here were also Hallmark - they were beautiful and were sent in a lovely box as well.  I looked for them online this year and was disappointed not to find them.

@nova. @Krimpette.  The copyright on the cards I have is 2005, so they're practically antiques.  I coun't find any sign of the company in Canada anywhere on the 'net.

@Kachina624  I'm not sure if you have a Costco nearby, but they sometimes have lovely boxes of cards much like you described.  I bought a box last year at Christmas and have finished them up this year, so I will looking for them next year. I like that no two are the same, so I don't have to worry about duplicating them or leaving several in the box unused.   They also carry a set with general greeting cards but I don't know if they carry it year round.  The cards all look like someone who is wonderful at card making or scrapbooking made them.

Re: Greeting Cards

[ Edited ]

I have also purchased several card sets from Hallmark that sound like what you are describing, and there is a steady influx of companies and individuals selling nice handmade cards on Amazon nowadays at great prices. This year, I chose cards with a pop-up 3D Christmas tree from a company called LUCKSTA that are absolutely beautiful; the front and inside feature lovely hand-cut details to accompany the intricate tree. I actually ended up using inserts to share my seasonal greetings instead of writing on the inside, and I've never had so many people contact me about my Christmas cards!  Smiley Happy

ETA: One other card set I really liked on Amazon was the "Paper Magic 30 Hand Crafted Christmas Cards with Matching Self-Seal Envelopes & Seals"—you may want to check it out.

The Hallmark variety box of greeting cards (not Christmas) can be found on Amazon.  Same exact cards that I had mentioned.

Sam's Club had hand made cards. They were made by Hallmark. I used to buy them every year. They were so nice. They had beads decorating the trees, ribbons, garland all kinds of things. It cost more to mail them. But they were so pretty I did not mind.

I did not see them this year. Thankfully I overbought. They were so nice I could not decide which boxes to buy. I still have about 3 boxes.

I am going to go to Sam's just to look for the cards. In case I missed them. The Sam's I went to yesterday did not have any decorations left.

@Kachina624    Yes to the posters above.  Both Costco and Sam's Club carry cards similar to the ones QVC used to sell - and with no S&H charge if you have the stores (they may be available online too if you are Costco member - not sure whether there is S&H if they are online).

I loved the Hallmark greeting cards and Christmas cards. Please consider presenting these cards again in the future. Exceptional Hallmark product!
