I placed a order on Sunday and pay $7.50 for shipping today Monday the item is $4.00 cheaper and free shipping.  Can't win with QVC going to think twice before I buy again.

Why do you feel that way?  Promotions happen all the time that are not announced.  Dynamic pricing is a standard at many retailers including Amazon and Walmart.

If you paid $7.50 for shipping it has to be a larger or heavier item.  Try calling customer service and see if they can cancel it if you can't do it yourself.

Re: Free Shipping

That has happened to me with free shipping, too.  Also, I purchase something and then I see the price go down a week or so later.  I hate when that happens.  But the way I think is, once you click on checkout or confirm your order, you are, in effect, agreeing to whatever price you are paying. It's like checking a box that says that you agree to the terms and conditions.

@teddysmom.  So your timing is not in sync with QVC's.   Perhaps you should advise them you may be placing an order so they'll wait for you.

Sorry if I sounded rude but I considered the OP's complaint to be riduculous.  I've often made purchases shorty before a free shipping day but never publicly complain about it, knowing that's life (and retail).

Sometimes people just want to vent and lament. Most would consider a missed savings of over $10 a bite in the shorts.

It's happening more and more with QVC.  Their prices are all over the place.

I can understand that free shipping isn't something you can count on (unless it's announced in advance), but the changing prices?

For example, I have an item in my wish list.  It keeps changing price:  full price, sale price, sale clearance price, back to full price tonight.  Same with other items in my wish list.  I honestly don't know any other retailer that plays these pricing games.  Sales, yes, but not the constant up and down pricing.

And, in the past, they were good about refunding the price difference if it was within 30 days, but no longer.  Now it seems almost nothing qualifies for that.  No refund if it's a "sales clearance price", a "final sale" price, a "lunchtime special" price...the list goes on.

Sorry, but I don't think it's good business practice.  I'm certainly buying less than I used to.  And because there's very little that is exclusive to QVC now, I always check other retailers before placing any orders.
