I am hesitant to buy some food products because I am not sure if peanuts might be in it.  My grandson has a peanut allergy so I have to be very careful.

Question...QVC....and suggestion...could hosts be given information to tell us...."peanut free"?  May apply to people who need to have gluten free items too.

Maybe I have missed this information if it has been presented.

Thank you.

Re: Food and Peanut Allergies

@walker,

With a peanut allergy, which can be life threatening, I wouldn't rely or trust QVC for a peanut free food.

I would just get things that are already approved by the parents that they already buy in the store or online.

Even if peanut free, you would have to trust that they also are not made close to things that do contain peanuts. Better to be safe.

Re: Food and Peanut Allergies

My Granddaughter has a tree nut allergy and I only buy what my daughter says is safe for her or make my own. You have to be VERY careful with cross contamination.

Re: Food and Peanut Allergies

One grandkid has food restrictions and I got a very detailed list from his mom.  That was I always have something available.

I would never trust Q for correctness.

Re: Food and Peanut Allergies

when you click on the nutritional info of the items, not only does it list the ingredients, it also shows a allergen report, including weather or not it was processed in a plant that also processes peanuts or not
