I'm considering writing to the top executives at QVC.  First of all, every time I want to click "like" on someone's review or write a question or review, I am being taken to a screen that makes me type my user nickname.  I can't tell you how many times just today I had to repeat that action.   It's not even like this is a password.  It's just a name I use for reviews and the screen acts as if they want you to change it.  I end up retyping my current nickname and save.  What kind of technician would initiate this page?

Now today, every time I do a search, a big screen comes up telling me to change to the App.   I do not like the cluttered app and if they continue to do this, I'll just quit shopping online at QVC.  I just want to use the regular website without being pressured by this pop up.  Get rid of it!  I do not like your app!

When I am going through pages in Order Status, I cannot go back to a previous page.  It will skip pages, often taking me back or forward several pages.   If you click on an item and then try to go back to where you left off, it takes you back to the first page or another previous page.   Technicians are not doing their job to make things user friendly.

When scrolling through items for a certain category and I click on one to look at the details, it takes me back to the beginning of the items instead of where I left off.

I use my I-phone a lot, but these things happen on my computer too.  Anyone who says there are no issues probably isn't a heavy online shopper on QVC.   These things should be easy fixes as every other major website I use does not have these issues.  I have written emails in the past about issues but that's not accomplishing anything and I'm considering writing to the top people.

Miss ,CHRISTY..it ......could have been me writing what you wrote.....I am a big shopper....majority of it is done on line..... I totally agree with everything you said...so annoying....so frustrating.....SO STUPID.....it certainly isn't user friendly....its time for you to hire...a top rate company to upgrade and update your website.....what is the point of having to constantly have to change my username.....FIX THIS....YOUR APP IS NO BETTER........STOP I have and have tried it.....

Those letters to the CEO never get to his office.    They are screened, and forwarded to other departments for a reply.   And, it's usually Public Relations who ends up with them.

This has been an ongoing problem for a lot of us for a couple of months or more. I don't know why, but they don't seem to be able to fix it or just don't care to fix it.

The "fix" may involve an extraordinary expense that is not covered by the budget.

Not true.  Years ago I wrote to the higher ups at QVC.  You need to send the same letter to more than one executive ( no matter what company you have an issue with).   You mark it personal and confidential.  When I did it the last time I had a top executives assistant call me.

I have also done this twice with a major hotel chain in which we own a timeshare.  I did it twice about 3 years apart and always got quick responses.  Normally an assistant to one of the executives contacts you.  This person is also important.    I also initiated changes.   I was never complaining about something petty.  It involved serious issues that needed to be addressed and the manager of that resort was a do nothing.   After doing this, I read an article online about how to get a company's attention and it stated everything I had done.   Multiple letters (all the same body) in different departments so one person can't ignore it.   Mark it P&C.

QVC's website is not a good one.  But this makes it almost impossible to shop because your phone is flipping constantly to the ad.  I think that should be brought to their attention.   The other issues are annoying but I wouldn't do a letter about them.   I work around them.   I'm not working around this though.

if you haven't tried it, don't say it doesn't work.  I actually got extra time in our timeshare for the problems.

@misschristy,

Years ago there were different owners that had an interest in customer opinions.

@misschristy  - I applaud your initiative for wanting to write a letter.   I definitely think it's worth a try.  If you decide to write it, please let us know.

@misschristy    Yes, there's a nice lady in Mike George's office who very diplomatically answers all complaints directed to him.  He never sees them nor is he interested in knowing about them.  He has his own agenda and will not very from it.

I have had to change my nick name once  and password 3-4 times.  It is getting old.
