I'm 34 years old and never have bought anything from any home shopping network ever. But about a week ago I was just browsing through the Internet because I was looking around for prices on the Virgin Mobile Motorola Triumph phone. I originally saw it on HSN so I placed an order for it on HSN for $250 on 3 flexpays but then something told me to check QVC and I saw that QVC had it for only $199 in 4 easy pays which was cheaper than HSN and retail; it retails for $279. So I cancelled my HSN order and ordered it from QVC. Well ... that was on March 13th. I was given estimated delivery date of March 20th.

Today is March 20th and I'm eagerly awaiting my new cell phone, but my UPS man came and went and no cell phone. So I called customer service and they said it shows status as shipped and "On the truck" but won't be delivered until March 28th. MARCH 28th ARE YOU SERIOUS??? This isn't 1985 and how in the world could it be "on the truck" for almost 2 weeks? UPS would never hold something in shipment for that long so I smell something fishy in Denmark. I don't think it was shipped when QVC told me it was shipped, in fact I dont think its been shipped at all yet because when I lookup the UPS tracking number I was given, its a dud, it goes to nothing on UPS's web site. That's 2 weeks for delivery when I could have had it in less than a week with HSN; now I feel like i shoulda just coughed up the extra $80 just so I could have my phone or even gone to the store and bought one full price if I knew it was going to take that long. I ordered a bluetooth handsfree kit from HSN on March 16th hoping I would have it for my new cell phone, and I got that today with just regular shipping.

Is QVC shipping really always this horrible? I ordered from HSN 3 days AFTER I placed the order for the cell phone and I got the bluetooth from HSN first! So now I have this nice new handsfree kit ... and no cell phone. Is this the norm with QVC? It was my first time ordering from HSN as well and right now in my book its +1 HSN and -1 QVC.

I will definately have second thoughts if ever considering anything from QVC again.
