I personally wear Medium and Larges in most items at Q. If they charged higher prices for 3X, 4X, 5X ( larger sizes), I'd be extremely offended! I doubt I'd continue to shop at Q based on principle alone. The attitude that larger sizes should pay more masks sheer prejudice and unkindness. Consider this. I used to be a professor. If your kid is dumb, then should you have to pay double tuition because your dumb kid takes up twice as much of my time? How would you like that? Same principle.

They most always charge more for larger bedding and sheet sizes which makes sense.
But as most feel, charging more for larger clothing sizes doesn't go over well and would lose a lot of customers.
And as one talented sewing poster here has said, it actually is much more difficult to make smaller sizes.
So perhaps they should charge more for those xxxs to xs!
No, I don't think that would work either. It's nice the way it is. Same amount for all.

JMHO , Your theory lacks common sense....
Since you asked .... Double tuition ...Dumb kid ..I just Thank God ....your no longer a professor !
@Sassycoco - And you called someone else rude? ![]()
Just because someone doesn't agree with you, there is no need to respond like that, especially when you've called someone else on it. You asked for opinions and you got them.
And to answer your original question: it doesn't bother me one bit that clothes are priced the same, regardless of the size. No B&M stores where I am charge different prices for different sizes.
Same garment? Same price.

It doesn't bother me at all that QVC or any retailer charges the same price for all of their sizes.
I know that it takes longer to make a garment in smaller sizes. Smaller XXS garments are not the norm, nor are the 5X larger garments.
Then again, there are petite sizes, average and tall within the xxs to 5x sizing.
The prices will average out across the board when retailers charge one price.
Can you image how much time, effort and energy it would take to set up the computer system and pricing out all these sizes?
I like it the way things are now....one price for all sizes. I also like that everyone can shop in one place....no more running into speciality store to find your size.
I am thrilled that QVC and other retailers carry petite sizes and I usually don't have to pay extra for petite sizes anymore.

@Sassycoco I haven't really thought about apparel sizing costing more for larger sizes. I am a petite XS, sometimes an XXS or a Small, depending on the designer.
From my experience, when I shop at an exclusively petite shop the prices are outrageous. I've never shopped at a store for plus size but I would imagine they would have increased prices as well. I don't mind my XXS top the same price as a 5X. However..............
What really does irk me a bit is when bracelets in a 6 1/2" cost the same as an 8". QVC has some real gold bracelets in small, medium and large and they are all the same price. At gold costing $2,048 an ounce, the bracelet with over an inch less gold should be cheaper. I don't feel costume jewelry should cost less/more dependant on the size but precious metals definitely should. I can never commit to buying a bracelet when I see I am paying the same price as the large size but getting less. Clothing? I just really don't mind.

I have several personal points to make:
You call out 'rude', yet you are just as rude back to them, that tells me a lot.
You should have paid more attention to your Professor when you were a student, going by your punctuation and spelling.
Last, but not least, 'Spellcheck' is your friend!
Have a great day!

They have stores in my area like Torrid ,Lane Bryant etc...for larger sizes....
@Sassycoco we all have other choices of where to shop regardless of our size. If you are not happy with inclusive pricing you may want to shop elsewhere.

I totally understand your point, but man is it a sensitive topic,as you can see by the pirannas in this formum. Rude love to call out Rude...You have every right to post your thoughts and opinions just like everyone else!
I know larger gals are appreciative that they don't have to pay more for their 5x vs Medium.
I remember when Q stopped at 3X...........says a lot about the state of our society that now 5x is common.
