I was just looking at Susan Graver's new bomber jacket on QVC.com. The fabric care reads as follows:
Care: MWC/GC/WWLC/ONCBWN/TDL/RP/LIIN
What??? I get that MWC means "machine wash cold" but the rest is just gobbledegook. When trying to fit fabric care on a little tag, it's understandable to abbreviate (even if we don't know what most of it means) but what is the rationale for abbreviating fabric care on the website? I would like to know if this item must be hung to dry, can be machine dried, or whatever. Fabric care shouldn't be a secret that requires code-breaking to read!!! Please don't do this to your customers!

At least you got letters, I haven't yet figured out the dumb symbols

Was this on Susan's October TSV? I've noticed the Q doing that on a few other brand new items - almost like they haven't had a chance to fully write everything out. But as it gets closer to the TSV date it all gets fixed.

@shoesnbags. . . . OK, I got most of it: Machine Wash Cold; Gentle Cycle; Wash With Like Colors; (no clue on this one); Tumble Dry Low; Remove Promptly; Low Iron If Necessary.
That's my take on it, anyway. Anyone know for sure? And what does ONCBWN mean?
Too much work to clean a garment!
Hugs. .

ONCBWN = only non-chlorine bleach when needed.

These symbols are used industry wide. Surely you've seen them on garments other than SG, I know I have.

Wait until it all fades by the third wash......Tagless is nice but it has it's limitations.

TDL = tumble dry low heat?
Slowly but surely we will crack the code!
