Why don`t they make a stuffed chicken with a breaded covering instead of bacon? I will not buy the bacon covered chicken anymore because no matter how long I cook it ( longer then reconmmened it always has RAW BACON ) and I do not like raw bacon!!!

@CHICKEN EATER I brown the bacon on all sides in a skillet before I put them in the oven. This was suggested by David Venable. It makes all the difference in how these turn out. We enjoy ours a lot.

I always have several varieties of this brand in my freezer with this being our favorite.  Easy meals with steamed veggies or a salad.  They are Buy One Get One Free at Publix this week, so I stock up.

@Tissyanne Yes, I've heard David say that as well. Makes sense. I wish these were sold locally, because DS would really like to have these on hand. Maybe I'll order them for him for Christmas. He doesn't really need anything (except a non-crazy girlfriend), so I've been giving him food for Christmas lately.

I believe there are other brands on QVC that sell breaded chicken.

I have never once not have the bacon fully cooked. If anything parts are often overcooked.  I make certain with an oven thermometer that the oven is at the correct temperature. I turn it over halfway during cooking so the bottom is also crispy.

@CHICKEN EATER

Do as David Venerable suggested pan sear the bacon before putting in oven.

I had the Corky's bacon wrapped stuffed turkey today and did the same, came out perfectly.
